Carol Ruth Collier October 1, 1963 March 1, 2008 Carol Collier, 44, of Woodway, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2008. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, at the Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Kay Hawkins officiating. Visitation will be from 6 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 4, in the Wilkirson Hatch Bailey Garden Room. Carol was born on October 1, 1963, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was the daughter of Bill and Martha Collier. Carol graduated from Reicher Catholic High School in 1982 and attended McLennan Community College. She was a lifelong Methodist and member of Cogdell Memorial United Methodist Church. Carol was a very friendly and outgoing person who never met a stranger. She thoroughly enjoyed meeting people and engaging in conversation. She enjoyed watching Baylor sporting events, especially the Lady Bears basketball team, with her parents and long time friend Scott McDowell. Carol is survived by her loving family that includes her parents Bill and Martha Collier of Woodway; brother Craig Collier and wife Kay of Brownwood, Texas; and the true joys of her life, nieces, Cydney and Erin Collier of Brownwood. Carol was an angel on this earth and will be terribly missed by her family and all who knew her. Memorials may be made to Cogdell Memorial United Methodist church at 1201 W. Highway 6, Waco TX 76710.
