Carrol Claridy

Carrol "Bud" E. Claridy of Waco passed away Thursday, November 8, 2007. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, November 12, 2007 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd., Waco, TX with long time friend and neighbor Rev. Charles Dupree officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. prior to the service. Carrol was born September 13, 1930 in Hill County, TX to Howard and Florence Faye Claridy. He served in the U.S. Army for four years, spending thirteen months of that time in Korea. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Ann Copeland and Bernice Brooks; twin brothers: Allen and Arthur Claridy; and brother, Ernest Roland Claridy; and grandparents George and Tedie Claridy. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Wanda Claridy of Waco; daughters: Cindy Claridy; Carol Copeland and husband, Duke of Speegleville; sons: Don Claridy and wife, Mary of West; Gene Claridy of Whitney and David Claridy of Waco; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
