Carroll Milburn Jack Cox October 21, 1919 - October 30, 2006 Carroll Milburn Jack Cox of Waco passed away Monday, October 30, 2006. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at St. Louis Catholic Church with Rev. David Leibham as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Visitation will follow. Jack was born October 21, 1919 in Edna, TX to Paul and Rhoda Rebecca Cox. He attended schools at Walnut Springs and studied accounting at National School of Business in Waco. Jack served in the European Theater with the U. S. Army in WWII. He married Katherine Sutter on April 8, 1953 and they moved to Waco in 1954. He was a construction worker for Fish Engineering for over 20 years. He was an accountant for Certainteed-Rohan Division for 10 years, retiring in 1985. Jack was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Waco. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, four sisters and his grandson, Mike Eddie Cox. He is survived by his wife, Katherine of 53 years, his son, Don Cox and wife, Butonne; his daughter, Carol Dickerson; granddaughters, Melissa Dickerson and Patricia Guerra and husband, Joseph; and great grandson, Jordan Henry. Also surviving is his sister, Pauline Hopkins, several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are James Sutter, Joseph Guerra, Robert Lee Sutter, Leland Morgan, David Troutman and Jordan Henry. Honorary pallbearers are Pal Thompson, Doug Thompson, Edward Sutter, John Sutter, Ron Hopkins and Jimmy Stewart.
