Carroll Ray Berg December 19, 1934 - January 14, 2016 Carroll Ray “Cotton” Berg of Lake Limestone met his angels from his home Thursday night, Jan. 14, 2016. At his request, there are no services. Born in Cranfills Gap, Texas, Cotton resided at Lake Limestone. He was preceded by his father, Clarence Berg; mother, Ruby Nora Somrude Blanks; sister, Jean Mize and brother, Roy Blanks; and his daughter, Patricia Ann Andersen. He is survived by his wife, grandson, great granddaughter, nephew, niece, two great nieces, one great nephew and his sister-in-law. He will be greatly missed by family & friends. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So, he put his arms around you and Whispered, "Come take a walk with me". With tearful eyes I watched you, I watched you fade away. Although I loved you dearly, I could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard-working hands now rest. God broke my heart to prove to me, He only takes the best.
