Cathey Ochoa Gajewski

Cathey Jean Ochoa Gajewski, passed away unexpectedly on Jan 8, 2021. Celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date due to COVID-19 restrictions. Cathey was born in Waco, Texas on May 13, 1961 to Johnny and Ninfa Ochoa. Cathey grew up an Air Force brat & traveled with her family to many destinations. She settled in Washington State where she & Bob raised their family and met many great friends. Cathey loved living by the ocean. Six years ago, Cathey and Bob moved back home to her Texas roots and she was so happy to be back home. Cathey was so full of life and adventurous and such a strong woman. Even her illnesses couldn't keep her down. Cathey's favorite color was purple and she was known as the “crazy purple lady” because of how fun she was and always wore purple. Cathey will be truly missed and loved by all. She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Ninfa Ochoa and many loved ones before her. Cathey is survived by her husband, Robert Gajewski, her son, Jesus Gajewski and wife, Shannon and daughter, Kacy Kelso and husband, Jake. Her grandchildren Julian, Angel Rose, Dominick, Santana, and Taylor and her precious fur baby, Violet. Her sisters, Carol Vasquez, and Carla Wright and husband, Keith; brother, Johnny Ochoa and wife, Susie and as well as many extended loved ones.
