Cathy Bear September 27, 1948 - January 15, 2016 Cathy Bear, 67, of Bosqueville, Texas, went home to our Lord on Friday, January 15, 2016, at St. Catherine Center. Her graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 22, at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, January 21, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Cathy was born September 27, 1948, in Waco, Texas, to Henry and Myrtle Cobbs. She resided in Waco most of her life. Cathy was a registered nurse for 37 years, which went right along with her helpful, giving personality. She was the most generous, loving person anyone could ever meet, taking in and taking care of everyone. Her shining light will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved poodle, Brandy. She is survived by her son, James Bear and wife, Rhiannon, of Bosqueville; grandchildren, Stevie Jo Bear and Christen Nelson, both of Bosqueville, and Kristopher Nelson of Louisiana; six great grandchildren; sister, Connie Russ of Bosqueville; and nephew, Brian Russ. Because of her love for dogs, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your local animal shelter.
