Cathy Massingill

MASSINGILL, CATHY Cathy Massingill, 44 of Lake Whitney, died Monday, October 18, 2004 at a Temple hospital. Services will be at 1:30pm Friday, October 22 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Thursday, October 21 at the funeral home Garden Room. Ms. Massingill was born in Dallas August 11, 1960 to Buck and Mary Swift. She attended Kimball High School in Dallas. She worked for the City of Lancaster for 10 years. She moved to Lake Whitney in 1999 and worked for Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center Rehabilitation Department. She was preceded in death by her father Buck Swift and husband, L. J. Massingill. She was an active member of the Commemorative Air Force Ranger Wing at Waco. Survivors include her fiancé, James Deitz of Lake Whitney; mother, Mary Swift of Dallas; son, Andy Massingill of Dallas; sister-in-law, Martha Swift of Duncanville; brother, Michael Swift of Duncanville; and her nieces and nephews.
