JONES, CECIL RAY Cecil Ray Jones, 91, of Waco died Tuesday, October 1, 2002 at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 1pm Thursday, October 3 at Restland Cemetery in Gatesville. Visitation with the family will be 6-8pm Wednesday, October 2 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 1124 Washington Ave. Mr. Jones was born April 18, 1911 in Gatesville, where he was reared and educated. He had been a resident of Waco over 50 years. He married Marguerite Rogers Bickly October 12, 1951. He was a veteran of WWII U.S. Army, where he served in China, India, Burma Theater. Mr. Jones was a member of Highland Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one granddaughter, Martye Pustejovsky. Survivors include wife, Marguerite Jones of Waco, daughter, Rita Walters of Lacy Lakeview, son, Barry Bickly of China Spring, grandchildren, Melissa Futch of Eddy, Robby Walters of Chalk Bluff, and Martie Bickly of Waco, five great grandchildren, sisters, Faye Adams of Belton, Reba Whatley of Denton, and Ruth Domstead of Lancaster, and nieces and nephews.
