Charles Edward Belt

Belt, Charles Charles Edward Belt, 80, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at his residence. Services will be Saturday, July 16 at 1:30 PM at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with his son, Charlie Belt and daughter, Terri Rose officiating. Visitation with the family will be Friday, July 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the funeral home, 6101 Bosque. Mr. Belt was born January 30, 1925 to James Delaney and Della Robinson Belt in Waco, Texas. He worked for the Buick company in Waco for 40 years and for the Baylor University Department of Public Safety until his retirement. He was an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Belt. He is survived by daughter, Terri Rose of Seattle Washington; Charlie Belt and wife Judy Quick of Charlottesville, Virginia; grandchildren, Lloyd Rose and Jamie Rose both of Austin, Ellison Belt and wife Nicole of Jackson, Mississippi, Corey Belt of Nashville, Tennessee and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Curtis Holze, Jack Ard, Ray Kirby, Don Collins, Harvey Phillipi and Jim Doak. Honorary Pallbearers will be Frank Yowell and Lloyd Rose.
