Charles Edward Penton April 20, 1925 – January 2, 2006 Charles Penton passed away Monday, January 2, 2006 at St. Catherine's Center. Graveside services will be at 3:30 pm Wednesday, January 4, at Waco Memorial North Cemetery with Chaplain Suzanne Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 5 - 7:30 pm Tuesday, January 3, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Charlie was born April 20, 1925 in Waco, TX to Fitz Hugh and Alma Penton. He worked all of his adult life as owner and operator of Charles Penton Motors. He is survived by his daughter Lisa Jo Penton, Waco, sister Mary Odell and husband Marion, Waco, and brother Eugene Penton and wife Ruth, Hewitt, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Arthur Lee Penton.
