Charles Ray Wade September 22, 1934 - October 31, 2014 Charles Ray Wade of Waco passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 at his residence. Graveside Services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 6, at Waco Memorial Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. David Cozart officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 5 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Charles was born September 22, 1934, in Fairlie, Texas to Ray and Hazel Wade. He served in the U.S. Army for 26 years including two tours in Germany, three tours in Viet Nam and one tour in Korea. He retired from Raytheon E-Systems. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Wade; his mother, Hazel Marie Coker and great-grandson Zayne Wade. He is survived by two sons, Chuck Wade of Ft. Worth and Steve Wade and wife, Debbie, of Waco; his brother, William W. Wade; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchidren. Memorials may be made to made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
