Charlette Renee Threadgill

Charlette Renee Threadgill September 7, 1961-October 9, 2006 Charlette R. Threadgill of Robinson passed away Monday, October 9, 2006 after a struggle with cancer. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, October 12, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Minister Larry Eoff officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Ronnie Holmes officiating. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Charlette was born September 7, 1961 in Waco, TX to Charles and Arlene Waterbury. Because of her parents untimely deaths she was placed in the Waco Methodist Home at the age of 7 years. At the age of eleven she acquired her new parents, Marvin Rhea and Shirlene Lands of Hewitt, where in her words “I got a second chance for a normal life with a wonderful family”. In March of 1982 she married Brian D. Threadgill and in August of 1988 gave birth to their daughter, Phylicia Elizabeth Threadgill. She was preceded in death by her birth parents and her adopted father, Marvin Lands. She is survived by husband, Brian Daniel Threadgill daughter, Phylicia Threadgill and her mother, Shirlene Lands of Hewitt. Also surviving are her birth siblings, Charles Waterbury and Charlene Rickets, brothers, Ray Lands and Kyle Lands. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
