HOLLOWAY, CHARLIE AUTREY Charlie Autrey Holloway, age 87 of Waco died Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at a local retirement center. Services will be held at 2:30pm Saturday, July 26 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. Pamela Dykehouse officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Friday, July 25 at the funeral home. Mrs. Holloway was born December 29, 1915 in Waco to Jery and Dovie Autrey. She married Truman Holloway May 25, 1940. He preceded her in death August 25, 1979. She worked for First National Bank in Waco for many years. After her retirement from the bank, she worked for Thad Sharp in his insurance agency for many years. Mrs. Holloway was a lifetime member of Herring Ave. United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents and six brothers and sisters. Survivors include sister, Ida Mae Autrey Collins and husband, Guy of Waco; brother, Wayne Autrey and wife, Sallie of Denton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Beau Crook, Bryan Unger, Matt Unger, Robert Jones, Austin Farley, George Jones, and Matthew Davis.
