Charlsie K. Woodson

CHARLSIE K. WOODSON, 83, died Sunday, September 9, 2001 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 11, 2001 at Lake Shore Drive Church of Christ, the Minister Ernie Christie officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Monday at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd. Mrs. Woodson was born July 28, 1918 in China Spring. She graduated from Waco High School in 1937. She was employed by the Waco Independent School District as a secretary for over 30 years. She was a former member of Robinson Church of Christ and presently an active member of Lake Shore Drive Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Woodson, October 24, 1979. Survivors include her sons: James Charles Woodson and his wife Barbara Moore Woodson of Fort Worth and Michael D. Woodson and his wife Marcia Woodson of Vallejo, Calif; two granddaughters: Rachel Garrett and her husband Grant of San Antonio and Jessica Woodson of Round Rock; two great grandchildren Emily and Joseph Garrett and one niece Nancy Martin of Waterloo, Iowa.
