Christopher Blain Coleman June 28, 1994 - July 25, 2007 Christopher Blain Coleman of Waco passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at his residence. Services will be held at 11:30 A.M. Monday, July 30 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 29 in the Garden Room at the funeral home. Christopher was born June 28, 1994 in Waco to Grady Lynn Coleman and Marla Marie Ketchum. He was an honor student at Rapoport Academy. He loved watching the food channel and watching wrestling on television. Christopher was very talented and loved the sound of music. He fought hard with his battle of cancer and was a very strong and brave young man. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, George Eugene Coleman; cousins, Katherine Denise Rice, Roger Joe Coleman, Ernest Coleman and maternal great grandfathers, Jimmy Lee Wood , Richard Murdock and William Hatfield and maternal great great grandmother, Ruby Wood. Survivors include his father, Grady Coleman; step mother, Missy McCormick; mother, Marla Ketchum all of Waco; sisters, Marrissa Coleman and Stormy Smith; brothers, Cameron Schmidt, Dustin Barron, Devon Coleman; step sisters, Patricia Dyess and husband, Lyndon Davis, Dorothy Dyess; step brother, Jacob Vaughn; paternal grandparent, Alice Coleman; maternal grandparents, Mala and Eddie Bufkin and Michael Ketchum Sr and wife, Suzanne and Ronnie Murdock and wife Linda, maternal great grandmothers, Dolores Dollie Wood and Karl Walker, Betty Murdock and Ann Hatfield, maternal great grandfather, Richard Ketchum and wife, Dorothy; step great Granny, Dorothy Hawkins; special cousin, Anna Marie Coleman and many other numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Rapoport Academy to include Mrs. Perkins, Mrs. Burton and Mrs. Melis; Cooks Hospital, M.D. Anderson, Ronald McDonald House Sally, hospice nurses, Kathy Reel and Martin Prtichett, Johnny’s Food Mart, the staff at H.E.B pharmacy; Susan Duecy with Altrusa and Gary and Clover Baker with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program.
