Christopher Martinez Correon

Christopher Martinez Carreon of Lott passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015, at Baylor University Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 24, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Rosebud, Texas, with the Rev. John Kelley as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., and Rosary service to be recited at 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 23, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Christopher was born September 18, 1990, in Waco, Texas, to Juan and Maria Carreon. Christopher was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Rosebud. He began as a kindergartener and graduated from Rosebud-Lott School, where he met and later married, Maria, his high school sweetheart. He was preceded in death by his sister, Rosa Maria Ramirez; grandmother, Maurina Resendiz, and grandfather, Felipe Carreon; aunt, Agapita Martinez and uncle, Porfirio Carreon. He is survived by his wife, Maria Granados Carreon; parents, Juan and Maria Rosario Carreon, all of Lott; father-in-law, Angel Granados and mother-in-law, Lupe Puente Granados; sisters, Catalina Rosas and husband, Jose, Anita Piña and husband, Jose Eberto, and Josefina Lopez and husband, Miguel; brother, Juan Manuel Carreon and wife, Norma; sisters-in law, Beatrice Rios and husband, Charlie, Martina Granados, Guadalupe Granados, and Patricia Granados; brothers-in-law, Angel Granados Jr. and wife, Blanca, and Miguel Angel Granados; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Miguel Granados, Juan Manuel Carreon, Rolando Costilla, Jose Rosas, Miguel Sanchez, Jose Sanchez, Jose Eberto Piña and Angel Granados.
