Clara “Lepy” Hartstack February 10, 1919 - February 22, 2010 Clara Hartstack of Waco passed away Monday, February 22, 2010 after a short illness. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 25, at Friedens E & R U.C.C. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Clara was born February 10, 1919, in Riesel, Texas to Gus and Annie Luedke. She was married to Willie Hartstack in January, 1946 in Riesel. She worked many years in the apparel business quality control and made many lasting friendships. In her last years, her enjoyment was her Tuesday 42 games with her friends and Sunday afternoon 42 with her family. She got to enjoy a domino game on her last birthday. Even in severe pain, Lepy was always willing to help anyone who needed it, up to the very end. She was an inspiration and role model to many and never tired of doing good or what was right. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Thelma Hees; nephews, Charles Hartstack and wife, Donna; and Harold and Gary Hees; and her special cousins, Esther Schimschat and Laurie Plagens and many dear friends.
