Clara Samuelson October 6, 1921 - March 24, 2011 Clara Samuelson of Waco went to be with our Lord on Thursday, March 24, 2011. Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 26, at the First Lutheran Church of Waco, with the Rev. Paul Fiske officiating. Burial will follow at Old Rock Church near Cranfills Gap. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 25, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Clara was born October 6, 1921 in Bosque County, to Wilhelm and Mithilda Wiese. She worked in the garment industry most of her life. She loved gardening, quilting, spending time with her family and especially spoiling her grandchildren. Clara was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church and a longtime member of First Lutheran Church in Waco. She had a deep abiding faith in her Savior that sustained her throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her parents and 11 siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Robertson and husband, Tom, of Robinson, TX; and son, Mike Samuelson and wife, Lucy, of Crawford , TX.; one sister, Ernie Samuelson; grandchildren, Chad Wyble and wife, Lora; Justin Robertson; Tammie Lopez and husband, Joe; Lara Robertson; and Michael Samuelson and wife, Rachael; four great grandchildren.
