COWAN, CLARENCE W. Clarence W. Cowan, age 90 of Waco died Friday, October 17, 2003 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 3:30pm Monday, October 20 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with Rev. Ed Willis officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Sunday, October 19 at the funeral home. Mr. Cowan was born October 7, 1913 in Moody, Texas to the late Steve Cowan and Lou Ella Sullens Cowan. He worked and retired from William Cameron and Co. in Waco. He was a mason and member of Fidelas Lodge #27. He was a longtime member of First Assembly of God Church of Waco. He was preceded in death by son, Charles W. Cowan and grandson, Kelly Cowan. Survivors include wife, Frances Cowan, daughter, Carolyn Keeney of Mansfield, sons, Jerry Cowan of Hurst and Steve Cowan of Arlington, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, brother, Ernest Cowan of Temple and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jeff Cowan, Gary Keeney, Matthew Cowan, Blake Cowan, Kirby Cowan, and Chris Cowan. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Baker and Derek Kirshner.
