Fae Barron October 16, 1925 - May 31, 2013 Clarice Fae Barron of Axtell passed away Friday, May 31, 2013. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with the Father Frank Mangum officiating. Burial will follow at Axtell Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 3, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Fae was born October 16, 1925, in Coleman, Texas, to Homer and Eva Ferguson. She enjoyed a 38-year career in Civil Service and received numerous awards and citations for achievements in Supply and Air-Training Command. She was also a long-time member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Waco, where she served on the Altar Guild for over 30 years. Since her retirement, she has been a devoted partner in the cattle business she and her husband owned for many years. She also traveled extensively both home and abroad, making many great memories and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Eva Ferguson; and one son, Stephen Lee Barron. She is survived by her husband, G. Bruce Barron of Axtell, TX; two sons, Brian R. Barron of San Antonio and C. Claude Barron of Waco; two brothers, Homer Ray Ferguson and Glen Ferguson; two grandchildren, Travis L. Barron and Brianne Cuadro; one great-granddaughter, Emma Hailey Cuadro; and several loving nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Historic Waco Foundation or the charity of your choice.
