Cleo Frances Crow December 5, 1912 - December 21, 2010 Cleo Frances Morgan Crow, 98, of Waco passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2010. A service will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday, December 23, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. Carl Freeto and Rev. Ben Disney officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 22, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Cleo was born December 5, 1912, to Ed Morgan and Allie Kennedy Morgan. She attended Waco High School and graduated with the class of 1930. She married Horace Sherman Crow, whom she knew since first grade, on August 28, 1933. Cleo retired, at 80 years of age, from Bank of America NCNB in 1992, after 28 years of employment. She was an active member of Central United Methodist Church through 2007. She volunteered for the Meals on Wheels program, ushered, assisted with church newsletters and was very active in the Willing Workers Sunday school class. She enjoyed traveling, volunteering at her church, spending time with her grandchildren and dancing. She was a regular attendee at the Sul Ross Senior Center. She was an avid dancer well into her 90's. In May of 2008, at 95 years, she was nominated Sul Ross "Prom Queen". Cleo was a kind and gracious woman, loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her family and a lifetime of many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Horace S. Crow; one sister, Kathryn Polly Davis; and one brother, Ralph Morgan. She is survived by her son, Kenneth H. Crow; daughter-in-law, Betty Jantz Crow; three grandchildren, Leah Crow Wagner, Jason Crow and Jayme Crow; six great grandchildren, Elyssa Wagner, Andrew Wagner, Michael Wagner, Matthew Wagner, Ethan Crow and Jaxson Crow; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Jason Crow, Jayme Crow, Ron Moody, Ralph Wagner, Kim Woodliff and Sherman Crow. The family would like to extend gratitude to Doris Crow; nurses and staff of Ridgecrest Retirement and Health Care, especially Penny; to Bluebonnet Hospice; and to Doris, Mary, Becky and Brett Rhodes of Home Instead for their services and care. A very special thank you is extended to Nelda Kelly, a friend and companion who was with Cleo in her time of need and at the moment of her passing.
