Cliffie Davis Hubert

MRS. CLIFFIE DAVIS HUBERT, 88, of Waco, died Saturday in a local hospital. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 17, 2001 at Waco Memorial Park, Rev. Marvin Donnell officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque. Mrs. Hubert was born December 12, 1912 to Robert J and Elnora Caraway Glenn in Axtell. She was an avid poetry writer. She was a member of West Robinson Baptist Church. Mrs. Hubert loved playing the organ and piano. She owned and operated a beauty salon in Waco for many years. She married Clyde R. Hubert; he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son Douglas Davis, her sister Vida Lucas and her brothers: Robert Glenn, Artie Glenn, M. D. Glenn and Shelby Curtis Glenn. Survivors include her four grandchildren: Anita Robertson, Lisa Hendricks, Angela Bell and Sheila Vaughn, and her brother, Jody Glenn of Waco. Pallbearers will be Tommy Rufful, Joe Grant, Michael Cate, Chris Cate, Randy Glenn and Shelby Glenn, Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Jody Glenn.
