Cora Schulze Zachry

ZACHRY, CORA SCHULZE Cora Schulze Zachry, age 86 of Waco died Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 1:30pm Saturday, March 13 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Rev. Michael O. Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North. Visitation with the family will be from 6-8pm Friday, March 12 at the funeral home. Mrs. Zachry was born October 11, 1917 in Gurdon, Arkansas. She started school in Uvalde and attended Waco High until graduating. She retired from TSTC in accounting in 1980. She married Wallace B. Zachry September 23, 1939. He preceded her in death September 20, 1993. Mrs. Zachry was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include daughter, Lynn Reiman and husband, Lt. Col. John Reiman of Del Rio; sons, Barton Zachry and wife, Carolyn of Arlington and Pat Zachry and wife, Sharron of Waco; grandchildren, Marra McElroy of Waco, Josh Zachry of Dallas, Meredith Zachry of Waco and Rhonda Etessam of Cedar Hill; sister-in-law, Joyce Schulze of Waco; and a close circle of supportive friends. Pallbearers will be David Dickson, Kelley Coker, Dr. Trey Gerdes, Maurice Robert, Larry Davis, and Stanley Haddock. In lieu of flowers, donations in Cora’s name may be made to Meals on Wheels.
