CORINNE COLEY WILLIAMS Corinne Coley Williams, age 87, of Axtell, died Thursday, March 6, 2003 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 8 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Frank Mangum officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, March 7 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 1124 Washington Ave. Mrs. Williams was born on February 21, 1916 to Porter Madison and Rachel Benton Coley. She married Roy Williams on December 23, 1937. He preceded her in death on May 30, 1982. She was retired from Barnes Lumber Company and an active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Mrs. Williams was a member of Waco Chapter #7 Order of the Eastern Star, where she was a past Worthy Matron. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Eugene, Marvin and Raymond; and sisters, Lucille Coley Holub and Gertrude Laningham. She is survived by her nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Williams was a wonderful and loving wife, sister, friend and very special aunt. Honorary pallbearers are Gary Coley, Sr., Gerald Rhea, Richard Smith, Gary Coley, Jr., Gerald Rhea, Jr., Steven Hidalgo and Mitch Davison.
