Curry A. Radle August 21, 1920 May 29, 2011 Curry Adolph Radle passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 1 at St. Mark Lutheran Church with Rev. James Price officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 31 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Curry was born in Mart, Texas on August 21, 1920 to Fritz and Lily Radle. He served his country in the U. S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He worked for General Tire and Rubber Company for 30 years, retiring in December, 1980. Curry loved cars, especially Studebakers and was a long time member of the South Central Zone of the National Studebaker Drivers Club. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Sarah Katherine Radle. He is survived by his sister, Marine Street of Ft. Worth; brother, Fred Radle of Waco; two daughters and sons-in-law, Claudia and Bobby Luedke of Axtell and Anita and Hunter Hoffman of New Braunfels; four grandchildren, Denise Head of Waco, Belinda Harcrow of Lorena, Bradley Luedke of College Station and Katie Hoffman of Austin; seven great-granddaughters; 3 nephews and 4 nieces. Pallbearers are James Head, Malcolm Harcrow, Herman Bell, Charles Street, Dennis Street and Tracy Lightfoot. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2000 Clay Ave., Waco, Texas 76706.
