Daniel Conrad Puchtler

Daniel Conrad Puchtler, 86, passed away on April 17, 2022, in Hewitt, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Methuen, Massachusetts, on July 16, 1935. He married Nancy Louise Hayes on January 31,1954. They went on to have six wonderful children: Kenneth, Linda, Jay, Beth, Sherry, and Patty. Soon he had 21 grandchildren, countless greatgrandchildren and even four great-greatgrandchildren living all over the country and had the pleasure of knowing and loving him. Although he was a master carpenter by trade, there was nothing he couldn’t do. Excellent cook, great storyteller, avid reader, and crafty innovator, he taught four generations everything he knew. Always generous with his time, talent, and resources, he was loved very much and he will be missed tremendously. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Elizabeth Puchtler, as well as his wife, Nancy, and sons, Richard and Jay.
