DOMINGUEZ, DANIEL R. Daniel R. Dominguez, age 75, of Waco died Wednesday, February 13, 2002 at the Temple V. A. Regional hospital. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM Saturday, February 16 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Lawrence Soler officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00PM Friday, February 15 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd., with visitation to follow. Mr. Dominguez was born in Windfield, Texas March 26, 1926 to Francisco and Esther Dominguez. He attended school in Malakoff, Texas. He married Miss Carmen Lopez November 27, 1948 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was a W.W.II Army Veteran, a member of American Legion Post and V.F.W Post # 2148 and D.A.V. He worked at the American Steel Factory in Fort Wayne, Indiana before moving to Waco in 1953, where he owned and operated Carver Park Grocery Neighborhood Store, for 40 years. He was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Catholic Men’s Association. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Carmen Denise Dominguez. Survivors include his wife, Carmen Dominguez of Waco; daughters, Deborah Green and husband, Scott, Yvette Guardiola and husband, Sam all of Hewitt, Yvonne Villarreal and husband, Judge Fernando of Waco; grandchildren, Nichole, Nicholas, Alexandra, and Bailey Green, Sammy and Daniel Guardiola, and Analisa Yvonne Villarreal; sister, Janie Bostos and husband, Christopher of Hunnington, Indiana; and brother, Joe Dominguez of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and an aunt, Dorothea Garcia of Waco. He was also survived by 37 nieces and nephews and 120 great nieces and nephews Daniel will be remembered as a faithful and devoted husband. He was a loving father to his children, a loving grandfather to his grandchildren and a father figure to all. He was also a devoted friend. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund. WILKIRSON-HATCH-BAILEY
