Danny L. Josey April 5, 1947 - June 29, 2015 Danny L. Josey of Woodway passed away Monday, June 29, 2015, at his residence. Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 2, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Bro. Joe Sandifer officiating. Burial will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 3, at Jarratt Cemetery in Jacksonville, Texas. Visitation will begin one hour before the chapel service Thursday, at the funeral home. Danny was born April 5, 1947, in Cherokee County, Texas, to David and Glynn Josey. He grew up in East Texas and graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University. He loved his family and being with his granddaughters. He enjoyed gardening and attending Waco High football games and Baylor Lady Bears Basketball. He was an avid "42" player. Danny was a member of First United Methodist Church of Waco. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Terry L. Josey, of Woodway; daughter, Kimberlee Vana and husband, Chad, of Cibolo, Texas, and son, Kenneth Josey of Hewitt, Texas; granddaughters, Kourtney, Miranda, Kaitlyn, Ambriee and Maddison.
