WALKER, DARRELL A. Darrell A. Walker, 86 of Waco, died Thursday, February 24, 2005 at a Clifton nursing home. Graveside services will be held at 1:30pm Friday, February 25 at Waco Memorial North with the Rev. David Rogers officiating. Mr. Walker was born March 4, 1918 in Wortham Bend, Texas; he grew up in the Wortham Bend and China Spring area. He worked for William Cameron Wholesale Company and retired from General Tire in 1980. He was a veteran of WWII in the Army Air Corp. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jean Walker February 16, 2001. Survivors include daughter Beverly Baker of Waco, son, Jimmy Lee Walker of Bastrop; grandchildren, Brent Baker and Brooke Overman and husband, Luke; brother, Donald Walker of Corpus Christi; and cousin, Lillian Carpenter.
