David Alejandro Mancha passed away peacefully Friday, August 11, 2017, at Providence Hospice Place surrounded by family. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 14, at St. Francis on the Brazos Catholic Church with Rev. Father Amado Ramos. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., with Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, August 13, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. David Alejandro Mancha was born April 9, 1973, in Longview, Texas, to Jose L. Mancha and Herminia Mancha. David was a graduate of Waco High. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers, and spending quality time with all of his nieces and nephews. He was a lifelong employee of Los Pepes Restaurant in Groesbeck and Mexia. He will be remembered as a hard worker and perfectionist. He was preceded in death by both his grandfathers, Papa Luis and Papa Luis. His is survived by his parents; brothers, Jose Mancha and wife, Heather, and Erick Mancha and wife, Veronica; sisters, Maria Elena Salinas and husband, Jaime, and Claudia Fraga and husband, Ernesto; nieces and nephews, Jose III, Jasmine, Julian, Josiah, Erica, Cielo, Cesar, Jimmy, Pedro, Cristian, Emiliano, Ernesto Luis, Vicente, Antonio, and Santiago; great niece, Ariana; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Pallbearers are Jose Mancha II, Erick Mancha, Ernesto Fraga, Jaime Salinas, Jose Luis Mancha III, and Luis Perez. Memorials may be made to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org.
