David Arnold Albers

DAVID ARNOLD ALBERS went to be with his Lord on Thursday, July 12, 2001 in Waco. May he rest in peace. Services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 17, 2001 at Peace Lutheran Church, Hewitt, TX Rev. Stephen Rynearson officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Monday at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Blvd., Waco, TX. David was born November 27, 1948 in Canyon to John and Hilda Albers. He was baptized into his Christian Faith at Trinity Lutheran Church in Amarillo and spent his life living his Christian Faith and caring for others. He was a representative of AAL Aid Association for Lutherans. He was previously with John Deere for 10 years in Amarillo. His father, John E. Albers, preceded him in death. He is survived by Michelle, his wife of 27 years and their two sons, Kevin of Bryan and Keith of Hewitt; his mother Hilda Albers of Canyon; his sister Beth Lauterbach and her husband Ray of Canyon; his brother Jim and his wife Debbie of Walburg; his brother Larry and his wife Katty of Bastrop; his sister Rene Gaston and her husband Ron of LaVeta, Colorado; his sister Joan Ryan and her husband Rick of Thorndale; his sister Nancy Horton and her husband Jimmie of Schwertner and his brother John and his wife Diana of Lake Jackson; and a whole host of nieces and nephews. He was a respected member of the community and friend to all he served.
