David C. Buhner

David Carl Buhner January 10, 1939 - August 29, 2012 David Carl Buhner of Waco passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. David was born January 10, 1939, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Chad and Edna Buhner. He graduated from the University of Kentucky and worked as a chemist at Dixie Chemical in Houston. He loved to hunt, fish and coach his boys in baseball. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kay Buhner, to whom he was married for 39 years; and two brothers, John and Jay Buhner. He is survived by three sons, Jay Buhner and wife, Leah, of Falls City, Washington, Ted Buhner and wife, Christy, of Sammamish, Wash., and Shawn Buhner and wife, Shelley, of Waco; and seven grandchildren.
