David Martin Todd August 26, 1950 March 13, 2015 David Martin Todd, devoted husband, father and grandfather, loving brother, and faithful friend, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015, surrounded by loved ones. Services will be held 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 21, at First United Methodist Church, 4901 Cobbs Drive, Waco, Texas, with the Reverend Wayne Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, 2124 South 5th Street, Waco, Texas. David was born August 26, 1950, in Slaton, Texas. He graduated from Richfield High School in Waco in 1968, and went on to receive a degree in marketing/management from Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University in 1972. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. David worked in the furniture industry until his retirement in 2010, at which time he was able to enjoy his lifelong love of antiques. David is preceded in death by parents, Raymond H. and Ferne Todd; brother, Raymond H. Todd, III; mother-in-law, Margery Watkins; and brother-in-law, Bill Lacy. He is survived by his loving wife, Julia; daughters, Allison Todd Lee and husband, Brandon, Sarah Todd Paredes and husband, Roger, and Katie Todd and fianc, Ricky Noble. He is also survived by father-in-law, David Smilie Watkins; and grandchildren, Lauren Margaret Lee, Caroline Lee, David Lee, and Emily Paredes. Also surviving are his sister, Carol Todd Horner and husband, David Horner; brother, Mark Todd; sister-in-law, Carolyn Watkins Lacy; nieces, Amanda Horner Ohlenburg and Abigail Horner Boney; and nephews, Todd Horner and Will Lacy. Pallbearers are Brandon Lee, Roger Paredes, Ricky Noble, David Horner, Todd Horner, Will Lacy, Crawford Guthrie, Marc Friedman, Richard Crowell, and James Lee. Honorary Pallbearers are George Yang, Jack Arnold, Randy Yost, Charley Donaldson, and Chad Schulin. In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made in memory of David Todd to Baylor University, One Bear Place #97050, Waco, TX 76798, to benefit the Hankamer School of Business Endowed Scholarship Fund.
