David Ray Young

David Ray Young, 65, of Hewitt, went to be with His Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Services will be 1:30 p.m., Monday, December 12, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home with Marvin Lankford officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m., one hour before the service, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home.

David was born August 24, 1957, in Waco, to Charles and Rita Young. He loved the Lord and his family. David enjoyed music and watching Baylor sports.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Loretta Cockrell; and brother, Charlie Young. He is survived by his sisters, Donna Sapp and Cameron Lankford of Hewitt. He also had many nieces, nephews and close family friends.
