David “Rope” Raynor January 13, 1938 - March 8, 2007 David “Rope” Raynor of Waco passed away Thursday, March 8, 2007 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 12, at Waco Memorial Park with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. David was born January 13, 1938 in Newport News, Virginia to Edward and Rose Howell Raynor. David served in the U.S. Army at Ft. Hood from 1963-1964. He retired from Owens Illinois in 1994 after 30 years of service. David and Patsy Spivey Raynor were married on March 23, 1979. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-son, Jimmy Frye; two brothers and one sister, all of Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Patsy; son, Joe Raynor of Denton; grandchildren, Josh Raynor and Laci Akins of Sadler; and Kaydi Raynor of Denton; the grandchildren’s mother, Dona Akins of Sadler; and one sister, Bertie Foster of Yorkstown, VA.
