Deanne Gottlieb Bigham passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024. The burial will be held at Oakwood Cemetery.
Deanne was born on August 30, 1928, in Arkansas to Mancie and Cora Stephenson. Deanne worked as a runway model in New York City. She eventually moved to Waco and received her real estate license, worked for a few agencies, and eventually co-owned her real estate company, The Carriage House.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mancie and Cora Stephenson; her husband, Philip Gottlieb; her brothers, Steve and Joe Stephenson; her son in law, Rusty Ward; grandsons, Cory Coffey and C. Coffey; great-grandson Koen Musick; and many friends and loved ones.
She is survived and will be deeply missed by her daughters, Susan Ellison and Dianne Ward; her husband, Truman Bigham; her step-daughters, Susan Bigham, and Jan Beard; as well as numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Deanne is also survived by Lei Larsen, with whom she shared a cherished mother-like relationship; Michelle Suarez, a dedicated and compassionate caretaker who she also had a mother-like relationship with, and who provided unwavering support throughout years of Deanne’s life; and Jose Balleza, who is a special friend that cared for her outdoor garden and assisted with household chores.
