Deborah Diane Davis

Deborah Diane Davis, better known as Diane, passed away August 19, 2023, at the age of 69 in Dallas, Texas. She was born May 21, 1954, in Houston, Texas, to the late Robert (Bob) Denton and Donna Pankinin Denton. Diane was a talented artist, a loving wife, a dedicated volunteer, and a skilled paralegal. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday, August 28, in the Garden Room at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home, 6101 Bosque Boulevard, Waco, Texas. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Diane's life and sharing cherished memories.

Diane's vibrant personality and zest for life made her the life of any party. She was known for her infectious laugh and her ability to bring joy to those around her. Diane's family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them. In her career, Diane followed her mother's talent and career path, serving as a paralegal for senators in Austin, Texas, and for Bank of America. Her dedication and attention to detail made her an invaluable asset in her profession. Outside of work, Diane had a passion for creativity. She enjoyed embroidery and knitting, pouring her heart into every stitch. Diane also loved to travel and explore new places, always seeking inspiration for her artwork.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother, Patrick O. Denton.

Diane is survived by her loving husband, Edwin (Eddie) Davis. They grew up together, as the Davis and Denton families were close.
