Dunlap, Deborah Deborah Sue Pauling Dunlap, 49, of Crawford, loving wife, mother and daughter, an angel on earth, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at a local hospital. Services will be held at Austin Avenue United Methodist Church at 9:30AM Monday, July 25, with Pastor Tom Robbins officiating. Burial to follow at Waco Memorial North. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, July 24, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey funeral home, 6101 Bosque. Debbie was born October 5, 1955 to Major Charlie D. and Marceille Pauling in Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. Growing up in an Air Force family, Debbie lived in many states and also Japan. She graduated from Midway High School, went on to earn her Bachelor in Education degree from Texas Women’s University in 1977 and her Masters in Special Education from Baylor University in 1981. Debbie taught three years for the Connally-LaVega Co-op, with the last 16 years in the Midway ISD ending her successful career as a second grade teacher at Hewitt Elementary. She is a member of Austin Avenue United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her father, Major Charlie Daniel Pauling and brother, Charlie Daniel Dan Pauling, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband, Bill, of 29 years, two daughters, Heather Dunlap of Austin and Holly Dunlap of Crawford; mother, Marceille Pauling of Waco; special nephews, Taylor, Trent and Travis McAninch of Lorena and other relatives and many close friends. Debbie was a loving and nurturing wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and teacher. Her life was centered around her love for the Lord, her dedication and unconditional love for her family, her very special friends and all of the little ones she taught through the years. Her students and colleagues will remember her as a fun loving, compassionate and giving friend. Debbie has been many places and touched many lives. She will be missed by all but the Lord could not have picked a more beautiful angel. Pallbearers will be Mark McAninch, Rick Hill, Dave Slovak, Jim Broiles, Jon Collins and David Walker.
