Dennis Irvin Hogan

Dennis Irvin Hogan of Waco, Texas, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 23, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 22, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Dennis was born September 4, 1944, in Norman, Oklahoma, to William and Phyllis Hogan. He served in the Army and was stationed at Ft. Hood. His passions were Chevrolet cars, NASCAR and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by seven children, William Hogan and wife, Jenny, of Axtell, Texas; Jill Hogan of Austin; Amanda Dzamba and husband, Daniel, of Lorena; Amy Thompson and husband, Scott, of Dallas; Joel Hogan and wife, Stacy, of Gainesville, Florida; and Jennifer Hogan and Julie Hogan, both of Waco; 12 grandchildren; and his sisters, Lyn Clements, Suzanne Gabel and Wendy Ackerman. Pallbearers are Bill Hogan, Joel Hogan, Jacob Hogan, Daniel Dzamba, Scott Thompson, Roman Chester and Chuck Harmon.
