Diane M. Rogers June 7, 1952 - June 10, 2010 Diane M. Rogers of Waco passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010. A gathering and visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Monday, June 14, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Garden Room. Diane was born June 7, 1952 in Oklahoma City, OK to Richard and Barbara Mitchell. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1974. For the past 25 years, Diane enjoyed a career with the Veterans Administration. Her final and most satisfying job assignment was helping severely disabled veterans obtain grants to adapt their homes to meet their specific needs. She was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Mitchell. She is survived by her husband, Mike Rogers, of Waco; and her parents; sister, Linda Mitchell; and her nephew, Mathew Mitchell. She was �Aunt Diane� to many pretend nieces and nephews and was �The Queen of Aruba� to friends and family who vacationed with her in the Caribbean. Memorials may be made to Fuzzy Friends Rescue.
