Dinah Byah Siemon

October 22, 1953 — November 24, 2005

Dinah Siemon passed away Thursday, November 24, 2005 at Hillcrest Baptist Hospital. A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 27, 2005 at Central Presbyterian Church with Dr. Rebecca Whitaker and Rev. Trish Holland officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2005 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey. Dinah was born October 22, 1953 in Blacksburg, Virginia to Charles B. and Frances Reynolds McNiel. Dinah was educated at the University of Virginia and Baylor University. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Virginia in 1977 and a Masters of Education from Baylor in 2002. She taught speech and theatre arts at China Spring High School. Her career included Montessori elementary education at the Potter‘s Workshop, J. H. Hines, and the Doris Miller Montessori Magnet School for Environmental Studies. Additionally, she was the museum educator at The Bill and Vera Daniel Historic Village at Baylor University. She and her family were members of Central Presbyterian Church in Waco. She is survived by her husband, Randall E. Siemon, three sons, Randall Ben, Michael and Douglas, brothers, Bruce McNiel and wife, Melody and Don McNiel and wife, Ronda. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial donations may be made to The Kidney Cancer Foundation.
