ZINZ, DOLLY LEE Dolly Lee Zinz, 84, of Waco passed away Thursday, October 10, 2002 in Midland, Texas after a brief illness. Graveside services will be held at 10:30am Monday, October 14 at Waco Memorial North with Chaplain Curtis Holland officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 7-9pm Sunday, October 13 at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey, 1124 Washington Ave. Mrs. Zinz was born in Leroy, Texas April 3, 1918 to Henry Glenn and Callie Hudgens Glenn. Dolly lived over 80 years in Waco prior to moving to Midland in November 2000. Dolly was a retired nurse having worked at Hillcrest Hospital for 18 years. Prior to her move to West Texas, she was a member of the First Baptist Church after attending Memorial Baptist Church for over 50 years. She also was a past member of the Baylor Senior Choir. Dolly was preceded in death by her husband, John Zinz, son, Wayne Zinz and two brothers, Louis and Bennie Glenn. Survivors include son, Barry Zinz and wife, Jo of Midland, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, sister, Irene Glenn Gibbs and husband, Darrell of Phoenix, Arizona, and numerous nieces and nephews.
