SMILEY, DON Don Smiley, age 47 of Lorena died Thursday, November 27, 2003 at a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Sunday, November 30 at White Rock Cemetery in Ross, Texas with Rev. Ivan Ker officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5-7pm Saturday, November 29 at the funeral home. Mr. Smiley was born July 21, 1956 in Waco to Jewell and Laura Smiley. He was a graduate of Connally High School. He had worked for HEB for a number of years, was self employed, also had worked for Mrs. Bairds Bakery and most recently for Minute Maid until his health started to fail. He was an avid collector of M & M memorabilia. He loved going to Garage Sales, Flea Markets and shopping. He loved to travel, especially to Louisiana. He married Mary Ann Glaze May 5, 2001. Don was a precious and sweet man who loved and cared for his family. He will be dearly missed by all of his friends and family. Survivors include wife, Mary Ann Smiley of Lorena; mother, Laura Smiley of Elm Mott; daughter, Stacy Gail Smiley of Lacy Lakeview; stepdaughters, Kristi Fuller and husband, Adam of Waco and Elizabeth Fields and husband, Brian of Lorena; grandchildren, Ashlin Fields, Landon Fields, Chandler Fuller, and Attison Fuller; brother, Larry Smiley and wife, Elizabeth of Leroy; niece and nephew, Laura Smiley and Patrick Smiley and beloved pets and day-time companions, Jelly Bean, Snicker Doodles, Cloudy, Yellow Cat and Blue.
