Donald Derek Dulock, 57, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025, after being hospitalized for an illness.
All wishing to honor Don’s memory and share in a smile of remembrance are invited to stop by George’s in Waco, Texas, for an informal gathering of friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025.
Don graduated from Richfield High School with an unmatched work ethic and entrepreneurial ambition. He went on to start several businesses as a meticulous tile setter, talented jewelry maker, and savvy car wholesaler and dealer. Multi-tasking people, logistics, and sums was second nature to him.
Whether you knew him as Donald, Don, Donnie, Dooley, 3D, Donald D, Big D, Shortie, or Big Texas, you knew him to have a heart as big as his stature and a generosity of spirit to match. He had amassed a long list of friends, walked closely with God and was well loved at the time of his passing.
Don was preceded in death by his father, Garland Dulock; his sister, Dianne Dulock; and his grandparents, William and Lillie Dulock, and JD “Pokey” and Faye Farley.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Dulock Atchison; steadfast friends, Randy Vaughan and Merrill Swenke; and love, Kerri Ann Greer.
The family invites you to leave a message or memory of Don in his “Memorial Guestbook” at www.WHBfamily.com.
