Donald R. Fadal March 7, 1936 - February 12, 2014 Donald R. Fadal of Waco passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at his residence. Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 15, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Msgr. Mark Deering officiating. Donald was born March 7, 1936, in Waco, Texas to Sam M. Fadal and Anne Lucile Hyak Fadal. He graduated from Waco High School in 1954 and from Texas A&M University in 1958. Donald owned and operated Kestner's Department Store for 44 years. He was a lifetime member of Waco Syrian-Lebanese Association, Texas A&M University Century Club Member. He loved his family, Texas A&M University and the East Waco Community. He is survived by his daughters, Dee Dee Fadal of Ft. Worth and Marcena Fadal-Collier of Waco; sons, Douglas Fadal of Lake Jackson, Texas and Whit Fadal of Dallas; grandchildren, Marcena and Justin Gamblin and Molly Waldrop, Clifton, Ann Katheryn and Wyatt Fadal, Ryan, Brady, Mason and Dalton Collier; and great grandchildren, Will and Paisley Gamblin. Special thanks go to Lee Fadal, Shawna Murdoch, Don Farek and Gordon Collier for their love and care for Donald. Memorials may be made to Reicher Catholic High School, Texas A&M University 12th Man Association or charity of choice.
