Donald Thompson of Waco passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017. Services will be 12:00 p.m., Thursday, March 30, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Moran officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Donald was born April 19, 1966, in Irving, Texas, where he grew up. He married his wife, Sherri, in 1994. He was a product support representative for Skyjack, Inc. He was a big Dallas Cowboy fan, loved racing, and trail riding on his side by side. He loved his Furbabies, Harley and Bella. He is preceded in death by his parents, Milford “Tommy” Thompson and Betty Gould Thompson; maternal grandparents, Roy and Grace Gould; Uncle Roy and Aunt Phyllis Johnson and Aunt Ginny Martin; and cousin, Chris Martin. Survivors include his wife, Sherri Thompson of Waco; daughter, Chelsea Thompson; granddaughter, McKenna Thompson of Grapevine, Texas; sister, Sandra Nelson of Carrolton, Texas; brothers, Barry and wife, Tammy, of Klamath Falls, Oregon, and Ron and wife, Dianna, of Richmond, Texas; stepson, Jamie Woolsey and his wife, Heather, and their three children, Damian, Jax and Desert, of Robinson, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Barry Thompson, Chandler Thompson, Mike Small, Ron Thompson, Spencer Thompson, and Tristan Thompson. In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to your favorite charity.
