Litton, Dora January 20, 1933 – November 20, 2005 Dora Litton, 72, of Robinson, went home to be with her Lord Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005. Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, at Meadowbrook Baptist Church with Dr. Eric Holleyman, the Rev. Albert Schroeder and the Rev. Greg Brumit officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Dora was born Jan. 20, 1933, to Clinton and Edna Cook in Axtell, Texas. She was a graduate of Lorena High School. She and Alfred were married on November 23, 1950. Both were members of Meadowbrook Baptist Church. After 25 years of service, she retired from HEB Food Store. Dora became very involved with The Good Sam RV Club where she and her husband, Alfred, served in many leadership roles at the state level and were honored with the title of Sambassadors. Dora was passionate about serving others. This showed through her dedication in mission work and with her family, who she loved more than anything. She always made sure everyone was happy and well fed, and she always put her family first. She lived her life to the fullest. She was the definition of mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nelda Cook. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Alfred Litton; sons, Bill Litton and wife, Carol of Sugarland and Bobby Litton and fiancé, Gena Cansler of Ennis; daughters, Marilyn McKinney and husband, Tim and Mary Reinhardt and husband, Kelvin, all of Waco; grandchildren, Gwen Danley and husband, Ron, April Browning and husband, Joel, Brian Reinhardt, Alicia Curry and husband, Michael Jr., Jason Reinhardt and fiancé, Amber Appel, Sara McKinney and Brandon Litton; great-grandsons, Summit Browning and Michael Curry III; siblings, Clint Cook and wife, Beverly of Houston, Zelda Thomas of Flower Mound, Mamie Johnston and husband, Clayton of Crawford, Kenneth Cook and wife, Adonna of Lorena, Danny Cook and wife, Denise of Houston and Wilbur Cook and wife, Sherry and many nieces, nephews and very devoted friends. The pallbears are: Ron Danley, Joel Browning, Brian Reinhardt, Jason Reinhardt, Mike Curry, Jr. and Brandon Litton. Memorial gifts may be made to Missions Fund at Meadowbrook Baptist Church, 1207 N.
