Dora Tartaglia, age 94, of Waco passed away Sunday, April 4, 2004 at a local hospital. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Angelo Bertini as celebrant. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial North. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Dora was born in Highbank, Texas on January 5, 1910. She moved to Waco and married Louis Tartaglia, who has preceded her in death. She then moved to Connecticut and then back to Waco in 1975. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Survivors include son, Vincent Tartaglia; grandchild, Leigh Bruton; sister, Katherine Todaro; brothers, Frank Tusa and Vince Tusa. Pallbearers will be Mike Tusa, Pete Palosato, Vince Palosato, Johnny Tusa, Charles Tusa and Marvin Myers.
