Doris Dot Zilem

Doris Dot Zilem, age 78 died Sunday, August 29, 2004 at her home. Services will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at 3:30 pm at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with Rev. Pat Cummings officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, August 31, 2004 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Doris was born September 13, 1925 in Sweetwater, Texas but lived most of her life in Waco. She married Charles Zilem April 21, 1946 and she was a member of the VFW 2148 Ladies Auxiliary. Doris was preceded in death by a son, Billy Pat Zilem; grandson, Michael Glenn Burns, Jr. and a brother Billy Ray Waller. Survivors include her husband, Charles Zilem; daughters, Nancy Burns and husband Mike, April Bradburry; son, Doyle Zilem; grandchildren, Gina Fenner, Destiny DeLaCruz, Brandon Zilem, Charlie Bradburry, Lisa Bradburry; sister, Sue Whatley and many other relatives. Pallbearers will be Charlie Bradburry, Brandon Zilem, Steven Fenner, Leonard Bradburry, Billy Bradburry and Chris Chadwick. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital or Burn Center.
