Doris Evelyn Pade

Doris Evelyn Belcher Pade August 9, 1938 September 25, 2008 Doris Pade, of North Bend, Washington, passed away at home on September 25, 2008. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 3, at Rosemound Cemetery, with Pastor John Slade officiating. Family visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home. Doris was born August 9, 1938, to Ruby McDonald Belcher and Charlie Belcher, in Waco. She was a 1956 graduate of Waco High School. She was married, in Dallas, to Robert K. Pade in 1959. Later, they lived in Wichita, Kansas, and in Seattle, Washington, since 1962. She was a graduate of the University Of Washington, and worked in the Criminal Justice Department of King County, Washington, a number of years. Doris traveled widely, having spent the summer months in Europe for a number of years. Many of her friends were involved in her travels. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by a daughter, Sabena Pade, of Federal Way, Washington; one son, Gerald Pade, of Seattle; and one brother, Roy Edwin Belcher and his wife, Martha Ann, of Waco.
